Do not betray became -- do not expose intent.
Do not covet became -- do not admit comparison.
Thus action survived — only language shifted.
And language, being gentler, appeared moral.
A person could now injure while speaking compassion.
Erase while invoking care.
Exclude while declaring inclusion.
The contradiction did not trouble.
Tone had replaced structure.
If the words were virtuous, the act could not be vice.
Is it a kindergarten in action?
And so a society learned to perform goodness
while relaxing its demands.
Nothing collapsed.
Everything loosened.
Fidelity optional. Restraint negotiable.
Truth is subjective. So called “My truth”.
Authority provisional.
The human animal remained unchanged — desire, rivalry,
hunger, pride — but its language improved.
