“A Thought That’s Uttered Is a Lie”

                                       In
                                 a noisy ocean

                         where everyone speaks, posts,
and performs, silence feels almost rebellious.
                             This poem reminds us
that some truths aren’t meant for the crowd — that wisdom,

once exposed to noise, can lose its meaning. It asks us to
                     guard what’s sacred: our conscience,

                           our faith, our inner voice.
                                Blending echoes
                    from Scripture, Shakespeare, Tyutchev,
and modern thought, it warns that the more we explain our

soul, the more we risk diluting it. Words, though powerful,
can twist the purity of what we mean. The poem challenges

us to think before we share — to keep what’s precious from
becoming just another scroll in the feed.
                                   In the end,
its message is timeless, steady and clear:

Do not take your goodness — in vain.
If it is what you really warship in.

                              Some unique things
                       shine brighter when kept within.
                           Otherwise, they may lose
                            in value for others holly

                                 confidence for
                                      YOU.
